Three Doves is honored to be recognized by the American Kennel Club as an AKC Breeder of Merit.
The AKC Breeder of Merit program recognizes breeders who are dedicated to preserving and improving their breed through responsible breeding practices, participation in AKC events, health testing, and a demonstrated commitment to the future of purebred dogs. Breeders of Merit are expected to register their litters with the AKC, perform recommended health screenings, and produce dogs that are active in AKC events such as conformation, performance, companion, and other activities.
For Three Doves, this recognition reflects our continued commitment to the English Springer Spaniel as a versatile, beautiful, intelligent, and loving breed. We believe in raising puppies with care, purpose, and attention to temperament, structure, health, and the natural abilities that make Springers such wonderful companions and sporting dogs.
This honor also builds upon our participation in the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. program, which emphasizes health, education, accountability, responsibility, and tradition. Together, these programs reflect the values we strive to uphold in our breeding program.
We are grateful to the families, mentors, fellow breeders, trainers, handlers, and friends who have supported Three Doves along the way. Most of all, we are thankful for the dogs themselves, who continue to teach us, challenge us, and bring joy to our lives every day.
At Three Doves, our goal remains the same: to honor the English Springer Spaniel by breeding dogs of sound health, good temperament, correct type, and joyful spirit.
