Yesterday, we had a break in the cold weather and took the opportunity to train at Busch Wildlife. Lily, Raven, and Jynx all worked on send outs and retrieves. Charlie, Jynx’s puppy, was introduced to birds and gunfire. It was a good day.

Lily Belle is currently training for her JR Hunt title. She practices most weekend with live birds and live fire. She absolutely loves hunting and will be entering her first tests this winter.
Three Doves does Puppy Aptitude Testing with all of our puppies as close to day 49 (7 weeks) as possible. We use two independent trainers to evaluate the litter so that we can make the best placements.
Our goal is to get the puppies outside as much as possible so that they learn to potty outdoors. Our next two litters will be born in the winter so we may not get out as early or often as we’d like. Litter box training will start early and this will be a great stepping…
